EX

One “EX” or Several

It’s not unusual to have more than one “EX”.  The hard part is keeping track of all the events that surround each one.  EXnotes gives you the flexibility to define each “EX” separately.  Then you can categorize and chain  together “EXnotes” into meaningful information.  Each “EX” is considered a “Subject” in EXnotes and is tracked separately (or combined - it’s up to you).  It doesn’t matter if the divorce occurred 10 years ago or 10 minutes ago, it’s important to document everything (good and bad).

Send Important Information to your Attorney Now

Sometimes you need to get information to your attorney fast - waiting until your next appointment may not be wise.  When your face-to-face appointment does occur, it is very difficult to squeeze all of the details into 1 hour.  EXnotes enables you to send reports directly to your attorney just as soon as they occur.  You can attach a PDF file to an email and send it day or night.  Then you and your attorney can decide whether you must take immediate action, wait until a scheduled appointment.

Get Important Events Notarized.

Documentation is very important - witnesses can completely change your case.  EXnotes allows you to document important events that can later be corroborated by witnesses.  You can attach “Notary Tags” to your EXnotes that print out in Notary format.  Then your witnesses can simply get the report notarized, send it to you and you get to use it to prove your case.

Document Everything - Good and Bad

EXnotes helps you keep a Divorce Diary of all the events that surround your divorce - both good and bad.  Any event that occurs should be documented in case it becomes important down the road.  You may need (want) to refer to these events while talking to your children, to your family, to your attorney, to the courts, or to your EX-spouse.  You may want to simply keep a record so you can accurately recall the details of an incident or to help prove patterns of behavior.

Chain Together EXnotes to show Patterns of Behavior

In most cases, you know your EX-spouse extremely well.  You know their habits, reactions, tendencies, strengths and weaknesses.

You probably know this from personal observations and situational  experiences that occurred over time.  Sometimes it’s important to point out these patterns, particularly if they are causing problems or are proving to be dangerous.  EXnotes gives you the ability to document those observations and mark them with a “Chain Tag”.  This links them together.

Create Visitation Schedules

EXnotes gives you the ability to  propose a visitation schedule and to eventually print out the agreement so that there are no misunderstandings.  You can create a schedule for daily visits (perhaps you get Monday and Tuesday and your EX-spouse gets Wednesday and Thursday), and weekly visits (you each get alternating weekends). You can  propose alternating holidays, school breaks, summer vacations, tax year,  birthdays.  Medical responsibility and Grandparent visits.  With EXnotes, the power is in your hands.
